The City of Manawa has long recognized the need to provide professional police, fire and rescue services to its residential and business citizens.

POLICE:
The city of Manawa ownes and operates its own police department using the latest in communications. They communicate with the Waupaca County Sheriff's Department and provide paging to the outlying areas. For better coverage they provide towers located within the county boundaries. The crime rate is very low in Manawa due the officers being familiar with the community.

FIRE:
Fire protection for the community and surrounding the areas is provided by the Manawa Rural Fire Department with townships providing assistance in thier respected areas.

RESCUE:
Rescue service for the city is provided by the Manawa Ambulance Service with EMT on duty 24 hours a day. The radio system is the same as the one used for the fire and police.
